La serie de imágenes que muestro a continuación corresponden al proceso de la portada del número catorce de Comikaze realizada por Graphikslava, en esta ocasión fuimos Omar Lozano y yo los encargados.

Todo empezó con la lista de seis personajes que me enviaron los editores de Comikaze, además de algunos opcionales que ya habían aparecido con anterioridad. Hago un paréntesis para mencionar que el número catorce está dedicado a Alan Moore así que no quise dejar pasar la oportunidad de incluír de manera sutil algo de ese mojo mágico en la composición y en los elementos de la ilustración final. Months ago my studiomate Andrés Esparza and I worked on a short comic book for Cembrit, a danish construction company that has established manufacturing, sales and service companies in 20 European countries: United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Slovakia, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Belgium. Since last year Graphikslava provides artwork for De Hemmelige Helte campaign.

And dont worry… kitten is safe!

Dos de mis cosas favoritas en un solo título.

Chocolate Habanero (Loreley + Gerardo Otoniel) acaba de estrenar su website en donde muestra las primeras dos series fotográficas, varios amigos y conocidos (y yo mismo) se han dejado captar en estas imágenes que en lo personal me han gustado bastante.

Por otra parte ¡Festocomic ya salió del clóset! El website estará listo en los próximos días pero acá está el video promocional del que promete ser un excelente evento comiquero como el que hace muchos años no se ve en nuestro país:

At first, this guy looked like some kind of monster but after inks were done I just see a random guy… yeah! with grey skin and a human head in his left hand but a random (maybe funny) guy after all. This time I dont really care about coloring, I use random brushes and cuts. [Read more]
