This “museum” is a big smart joke by New Media (Dundee University) students…
This website makes available our most recent collection of forgotten communication and entertainment media, to anyone unable to attend the exhibition in December 2006.
These nine exhibits were donated by a group studying Interactive Media Design, who lovingly restored each to working order. Their discoveries were made whilst researching examples of interaction design that pre-dated digital technology. They also uncovered archive film, photography and packaging which places each artefact in its historical context.
Amazing machines out of his time as the 1900 Richophone and the 1918 Prat Sampler. Fake, fake, fake but enough interesting to me.
I finish this book today, a slow lecture because I use little free time on it (translation: I read this on the bathroom, he, he…). Writing by Maurice Druon, The Iron King is part of The Accursed Kings, a seven historical novels set in the Middle Age France about conspirations, romance and… oh yeah, templar knights baby!! I recomend this book? Yes, is almost serious and thats pretty good, youre not reading that DaVinci Code (or any similar) garbage.
I read this because I need research about royalty in hard times and the book (in fact, the complete saga) is a real help. In this first part, Philip IV (the Fair, le Bel in french) gives death sentence to the last templar knights after a seven years imprisonment. Before his death, Jacques de Molay curses the french royalty until the 13th generation…
…and thats the start point of the saga.
I need the other six books.
Amazing set of 19th century shipping posters… this series gave me some ideas for magazine design… in fact, comics design:

Tokyo teenagers have been busted for mugging junior high students in the Akihabara district. Apparently, these toughs call their bullying “otaku hunting” because they target young Akiba-kei, a slang term for people who dig the electronics, manga, and anime products sold in Akihabara. According to the Mainichi Daily News, there have been 25 reports of otaku hunting this year. From the Mainichi Daily News: Otaku are weak and they’ve got money, so we went after them,” one of the arrested youths told the police.
