Lomography

::bricks::

In a recent job interview somebody ask me about the lomos in my photo gallery; as her, a lot of people dont know about lomography (or lomo). This kind of photography is about quick snapshots, characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, happy accidents, and alternative film processing are often considered part of lomography. To shot lomos you need a lomo camera, most know series are Holga, Fisheye, SuperSampler and Action Sampler.

We are all photographers now!

From JPG Magazine blog:

JPG Magazine is participating in a show at Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne, Switzerland. We Are All Photographers Now! is a show about “the rapid mutation of amateur photography in the digital age.” And we just love anything that has to do with mutants.

The JPG wall will also include a flat panel LCD displaying a slideshow of excellent photos from the community. If one of your photos has been favorited a few times, chances are it’ll be in the slideshow!

But wait, there’s more! You can participate in the show by uploading a photo to the show’s website right now. The uploaded pics will be shown on a projector in the gallery. And once a week, 100 photos will be chosen at random, printed, hung for a week, and added to the museum’s permanent collection.

Here`s the original post. By the way, I send two photos…

Update (05.03.07): The museum send me a photo of one of my pictures on exhibition:
