The Dark Knight poster

Im waiting for this movie. All my life Batman has been here thanks to that 60´s serial with Adam West, then in my teenagers years I know the Batman from comics thanks to Editorial Vid (publishers of DC Comics in Mexico). Burton movies were good for his time but now… well, I dont like a lot.

Now is Christopher Nolan turn and fuuuuuuck! his first movie was a wonderful one, I watched the dvd a lot of times because is in my top favorite movies. As all worlwide fans, I cant wait 6 months for it… take a look to the trailer:

Hi, hi!! Just a quick one (uhm.. as always, right?)…

Cómics is a great local project with short comics and comic strips, my first colaboration comes in #4 with Bananarama, an aborted project with a cute monkey as main character but in #5 comes the real colaboration, unfortunately I cant talk about yet. More photos and freaks here.

Nochnoi Dozor

Maybe spoilers here and there…


Nochnoi Dozor or Night Watch is the first part in a fantasy trilogy directed by Timur Bekmambetov. First, the critics call him a horror sci-fi fantasy thriller action movie, but I dont find horror (supernatural things yes, but no horror); I like this movie, a lot… not a big deal but what the hell. The story is interesting beyond the classic the last battle between good and evil line and theres some changes from the russian version to the american one. [Read more]

Funny Games

This time I want to show the process work for the Funny Games contest. The film directed by Michael Haneke needed a jacket design for his Spanish release. After knowing the synopsis and rules, I brought several ideas on my head, so I hold a pencil and my sketchbook…


First, I thought about making a composition with the hi-res photos that they provided to us but it had been the easy way; so I choose an illustration (more compatible to which I make to eat). Before drawing the illustration I put myself to sketch schemes of the elements distribution (illustration, letters, logo) and then, I thought that it could draw the title typography based on my own writing, this photo show options that later would be render in Illustrator.
