With creepy Galactus help I delete the php gallery and all portfolio images hosted here in renatoguerra.com to create a new one based (and hosted) on my Flickr account that I’ve been using since 2004; although it was pretty obvious host my gallery based on their tools Im not the greatest Flickr “sideways” fan, until now that I need save times between two regular titles colors, new illustrations and life, thats also why I link some accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads) since months… modern omnipresence at works!!! New images includes my last Phantom colors, sketches and more.

Ya he resuelto el problema y llegando a Monterrey iré directo a comprar el cable que ha resultado estar a un precio mas bajo que en la Ciudad de México. De nuevo, gracias a todos y a la gente tan amable que me he topado en Campus Party.

3 illustrations and 6 color works added in PORTFOLIO! Also, this week Im updating COMICS section with info about latest projects, in fact “base” projects, publications that show my work periodically. Since some days Im working in comics scheduled in 2010 (includes my largest one-shot project until now) wich is great because I take time to make logos and some illustration work (wait another process post soon).

Im not sure if I write something related here but since some months I start to rewrite an old project and the first draft is already finished, as Im a slowly cow in sequential draw I talk with this artist-on-crack and we would start a process journal to show you some behind the scenes in 2010.

Y es que nuca fuí fan del trabajo musical de Jackson, no me gusta pues. Eso no quiere decir que no este consciente de su valor artístico para millones de personas alrededor del mundo. La muerte de Michael Jackson me ha llevado a pensar en el inicio de la cadena de muertes de figuras públicas enclavadas en el contexto cultural de mi crecimiento biológico (lo siento Farrah, tu no cuentas) y es que aunque nunca haya escuchado un disco de Jackson su presencia estuvo ahí, en un insignificante rincón mientras llegaba a este punto y muy seguramente estará en el futuro.

¿Qué estaré haciendo cuando mueran Silvio Rodríguez, Bob Dylan o Charly García?

But barely, I was sick for last 3 days and that sucks… last couple of weeks has been a total crazyness here but also very productive, as color artist I finish some pages of Buckaroo Banzai: Origins comic, and the first issue of Phantom: Generations miniseries (both from Moonstone) and 8 pages as my grain of sand to HOPE: HERO INITIATIVE a benefit anthology to be published by Ronin Studios with collaborations from a lot of comic book makers… and Gerry Alanguilan have a short story inside! In more personal matters Im adapting a script from one of my short stories from… 2005!! and working on some illustrations and my personal (and for now, secret) project. Im using free time to sketch and draw more… in fact, in bed (and sick) is the only real fun thing to do.

After a month we solve the big problem with our old internet provider (Intercable) and the final works and samples are in way to your hands. We take legal actions for a very bad service.
