The last months were a crazy ones!! New house, new work and a full new life. At least we have internet in home. I didnt has a lot of time to draw outside my freelance work, my precious free time was used in new pages of Hölkan (and other comic-books projects). Heres a little preview:

The Webcomicsnation system give me a big headache and for that Im gonna host the webcomic here, in my own domain. Wait for the new url and new pages in january.

Im back from Mexico city. What a great experience!! I know a lot of illustrators: Emmy and Víctor Hernández, Kenta, Mauricio Herrera and Jesús Antonio (alias Portaveritas), among others.

The last friday Eva and me goes to Mexico city to La Mole event, I think that isnt a comicon but a comics/manga related event. After left our bagpacks we go to La Mole at a few steps from the hotel. I has the chance to talk with Mauricio Herrera about comics, publishing, editorial design and others things. By night Eva and me goes to Tokyo Pop bar, a small place full of good taste, white munnies and Kenta´s artwork wich I like so much, we brought some stickers with his illustrations and talk a little with him.

Openhaüs sellout the second day!!! After the con we have a dinner with Emmy, Víctor, Brocoli and Paco Espinoza. Here some photos:

As you can see, I dont take a lot of photos because I was full of fun (ha!). I need to ask to the others for more pics; I will update this post when photos start to come to my inbox.

Im waiting for this movie. All my life Batman has been here thanks to that 60´s serial with Adam West, then in my teenagers years I know the Batman from comics thanks to Editorial Vid (publishers of DC Comics in Mexico). Burton movies were good for his time but now… well, I dont like a lot.

Now is Christopher Nolan turn and fuuuuuuck! his first movie was a wonderful one, I watched the dvd a lot of times because is in my top favorite movies. As all worlwide fans, I cant wait 6 months for it… take a look to the trailer:

Eva and me are back to Openhaüs manor. A week with a lot of work is waiting us, Im going to finish a science fiction based pin-up, the Concepto Y/O #2 cover (and the social networking article) and make some changes to Root, my 6 pages story from Openhaüs #1; also Im sketching a comissioned cover and another 2 short stories (to Openhaüs #2 and ¡#$%&! Comics).

But at this time, I need a great dream.

Hi, hi bastards!!
Eva and me comes to Guadalajara to a very quickly trip, half business, half diversion. Im writing this in Elvira´s laptop in Luleo´s, the fucking best place to eat french fries! We 3 are talking about new projects. We´ll be back to Monterrey in a few days. Im still working in a cover for Concepto Y\O #2 and a pin-up for a friend´s comic-book project.
